COMPANY RESUME

           Our construction materials company has been a family business for over 50 years.  The owner of our company, Yüksel Balcı separated from his family business and established Balcı Construction Company in 1991.

We transported and distributed cement from Çanakkale to Ereğli by sea for 10 years when there were no cement companies in the area.

​

• In 1994, we established The Kdz. Ereğli Concrete Batching Plant.

• In 1996, we established our first gas station.

• Our construction lime company started actively working in 1997.

• In 1998, we established The Akçakoca Concrete Batching Plant.

• In 2002, after establishing a construction aggregate quarry, we partnered up with the reputable French company, Lafarge, to open a construction batching plant. We kept our partnership with Lafarge until the French company decided to pull out its branches from Turkey. In 2010, when they pulled out from Turkey,we bought Lafarge’s shares from them.

• We established our Construction chemicals and Insulation Company in 2002. Over 13 years the company was active, it spread to over 20 countries.

• Since 2009, we have built and fixed the roads of many villages with our Köydes project. Over 150 km worth of roads have been built since we started,

• In 2010, we fixed and laid asphalt on the road of the Kdz Ereğli Organized Industrial Zone.

In this period of time, our continuing business is run by the second generation Batuhan Balcı.
